Hello, and welcome to this course, Cultivating Wholeness. What does wholeness mean? How can we cultivate wholeness within ourselves? We will seek to elucidate the mystery of wholeness by looking through the eyes and words of experts like existentialist philosopher Albert Camus, best-selling author Susan Cain, philosophy professor Kathleen Wallace, coach Brad Stulberg, and Yoga teacher Erich Schiffmann.

In this journey, you’ll be guided through practical and effective mindfulness exercises, frameworks, and tools from psychology, coaching, and spiritual practices to empower you to cultivate wholeness from deep within you. You’ll identify how being whole looks like and feels like for you, and tangible steps you can take on your journey to cultivate wholeness from within you.

This course was borne out of a conversation with a friend of mine. Much of our interactions have been influenced by our respective spiritual journeys and experiences as practitioners of Yoga, which can be found peppered throughout this course. I’m thrilled to dive in with you. This course will provide you with practical tools and tips to cultivate wholeness deep within you.



Lesson 1

Water: Wholeness & Non-duality

Explore the concept and philosophy of non-duality and how it relates to your experience of wholeness. We'll also explore how yoga can elucidate what Wholeness means.

Lesson 2

Wood: The Myth Of Sisyphus & The Futile Pursuit

Is the path to wholeness a futile attempt? Today we'll explore this question and I'll introduce to you the Greek myth of Sisyphus and insights from existentialist philospher Albert Camus.

Fire: Beyond Striving Into Allowing

Today I'll introduce you to Artists and Spiritual practitioners Debbie Parkins and Paul Jordaans and we’ll explore the path to Wholeness and the to surprising key to cultivating Wholeness.

Lesson 4

Earth: Redefining Wholeness & The Fluid Self

Today we will explore how you can redefine wholeness in relation to your sense of Self and I'll introduce to you two concepts from psychology to help you redefine wholeness.

Lesson 5

Metal: Reconciling & Healing The Broken / Incomplete

Be guided through some journaling prompts to harness the Metal Element’s alchemizing power to reclaim Wholeness. You’ll identify the parts you may have forgotten, lost or left behind, so you can begin to alchemize, reconcile and heal the hurt.
